"CAN" or "COULD"?

Using 'can'

To say that someone is able to do something:/ хтось вміє щось робити

‘I can surf well.’

To say that something is possible at a certain time: / щось можливо зробити в певний час

‘Once the school term ends, you can go on a holiday.’

To talk about opportunity:/ можливість зробити щось

‘I am free now so we can go to the beach today.’

"TIRED" and "EXHAUSTED" / ВТОМЛЕНИЙ

What is the Difference between "TIRED" and "EXHAUSTED"

'TIRED' means in need of some rest: / означає- потребує відпочинку

• ‘I’m so tired after going to English classes for the whole day.’
• 'The baby was crying because he was tired.'

‘EXHAUSTED' means extremely tired. / означає- надзвичайно втомлений

‘I was so exhausted after exercising that I went straight to bed.’

'Sally has a very busy schedule this week. She is already exhausted.'

"COMMENCE" and "START" / ПОЧИНАТИ

What Is The Difference Between "COMMENCE" and "START"

"START" means to begin doing smth: / означає починати робити щось

• We will start the English lesson now.
• When do you start your new job?

"START" can also mean to get something to work: / може означати змушувати щось працювати

• I tried to start the car.

"COMMENCE" also means to begin, but we use it in more formal situations: / також означає починати, але ми використовуємо його для більш формальних ситуацій

• The ceremony will commence on time.
• The project will commence on September 1.
